Free shipping on U.S. orders over $200
All orders over $200 shipped to the United States qualify for free standard shipping — no hidden fees, no customs charges. For orders under $200, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on item weight and destination. International orders ship at a flat rate of $19.
Where do orders ship from?
Orders are fulfilled and shipped directly from our forge workshop in France or Longquan depending on the model — one of the world's most established sword-making regions with over 2,600 years of blade-forging history. Each katana is inspected and carefully packaged before leaving the workshop. Shipments are handled by FedEx and UPS with full tracking provided on every order.
Processing times
In-stock items: 1–2 business days before shipment.
Made-to-order items (including custom katanas): 2–15 business days depending on design complexity and current workshop volume.
Special editions: 3–10 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your order ships. Track your package anytime on our order tracking page.
Estimated delivery times
Delivery times are estimates calculated from the date of shipment, not the date of order. Actual transit may vary depending on customs processing and local carrier conditions.
Customs and import duties
There are no customs fees — we handle everything. For international orders, import duties and taxes may apply depending on your country's regulations. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking your country's import rules for bladed items before ordering.
Packaging
Every katana is wrapped in protective foam, placed inside a rigid cardboard box, and sealed for transit. The outer packaging is discreet — no images of swords or weapons on the box. If you ordered a silk bag or premium box, these are included inside the shipping carton.
Pre-orders
If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, all items will be held and shipped together once the pre-order is ready. You will receive a single tracking number when the complete order departs.
Lost, delayed, or damaged shipments
If your package has not arrived 31 business days after purchase, email us at contact@katana-corp.com with your order number and any tracking details. We will open an investigation with the carrier and, where applicable, replace or refund your order per our refund policy.
Inspect your package on delivery. Report any visible damage to both the carrier and our team within 7 days to qualify for insurance claims.
Address accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before confirming your order. If delivery fails due to an incorrect address or missed delivery attempts, any redelivery or rerouting fees will be charged before reshipment.
