Blue blade / white saya / Winter Spirit
Winter Spirit combines a blue blade with a white, finely patterned saya. The irregular pale line on the steel suggests a snowy ridge, while navy-and-white wrapping continues the cooler colors around the handle. A silver-colored guard and brass collar sit between the two, adding small metallic details without overwhelming the blue.
The blade
The blade is 1060 carbon steel with a blue decorative finish. An uneven white line follows the border between the blue surface and the brighter edge, becoming especially clear toward the tip. It is a visual detail, not a claim of clay tempering. The blade is sharpened, full tang and 72 cm long.
The fittings
The photographed saya has a white finish crossed by fine, dark crackle lines. Navy-and-white cotton around the handle leaves pale diamond-shaped openings over synthetic rayskin.
